For a little while now I’ve been having a problem with my GBA Micro screen. It doesn’t really show up well here, but I at some point I put pressure on the screen causing it to look pretty bad.I was tempted to send it off to Nintendo to fix it, but it’s $50 for them to replace it, and I only paid $20 for it to begin with. Since I really enjoy my Micro, I decided to replace the screenJimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11124732160641445609noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8849212089799120164.post-58326957447539533442010-01-09T08:16:00.001-05:002010-01-09T08:16:19.502-05:00You’ve Got to be KiddingOur air “security” has gone a little too far.  You may have heard of the man whose note caused an aircraft to turn around last Wednesday, escorted by two fighter jets.  Apparently it was of a threatening nature.  Here’s what it said: "I thought I was going to die, we were so high up," the card said. Damned, filthy, mandatory updates! Every time I turn on my PS3, it seems that if the system doesn't have an update, the game does. We're not talking the quick 30 second updates on 360, these are long drawn out, 15 minute or more updates. Maybe I only have 10 minutes to play. How am I supposed to play this damned thing? Just finished Batman: Arkham Asylum.  Excellent game, loved almost every minute of it.  Some parts were ridiculously hard, but rewarding when I finally passed them up.  I’d definitely recommend anyone who’s a Batman fan to play it. The only part I haven’t finished is the challenge rooms.  My only question is how worth it the achievements are.  They’re kinda wack, but Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11124732160641445609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8849212089799120164.post-31391978444219376042009-09-10T06:42:00.000-04:002009-09-10T06:42:22.344-04:00Well, That Was FastSummer's been here and gone already. We were at the park yesterday for our nieces birthday. While there we were inundated by squirrels. That’s a good thing, I love squirrels. They are some of the quirkiest creatures put on this earth. This little fellow was frightened by me, so he ran up the tree with his nut he was eating. Funny thing is, he kinda hung upside down and ate his nut while intently Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11124732160641445609noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8849212089799120164.post-63445156205225494802009-09-02T20:06:00.001-04:002009-09-02T20:06:31.794-04:00Michigan Isn’t Too BadThe roads in Michigan are a little confusing, but not too bad.  Boston still wins in the shittiest civil engineering possible category.  In both states you have to go right if you want to make a left.  In Massachusetts you have to drive a couple of miles to get to a U-turn, and I’m still not 100% sure if it’s legal to do.  In Michigan you only have to go a few blocks.  Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11124732160641445609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8849212089799120164.post-81238498010949678742009-09-01T20:19:00.001-04:002009-09-01T20:19:48.892-04:00Nothing Like RobocopVisiting Detroit today, and I’m kinda disappointed.  I expected to see RoboCop driving around in a crappy Ford Taurus.  Instead it’s been a fairly nice area.  Not at all what I expected.  Maybe we just didn’t make it into the really seedy parts… On the other hand, the PSA’s were somewhat expected.  After watching enough Judge Mathis, I did expect to see signs telling Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11124732160641445609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8849212089799120164.post-85932481364747204552009-08-05T07:34:00.002-04:002009-08-05T07:37:53.127-04:00Hell Yeah!I finally figured out how to move on in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion! Apparently I missed one tiny little thing, and that was the hold-up. I completed a quest that was supposed to happen after that tiny little thing, so it never asked me for it. Say you need a half-inch socket, you can’t find it.  When you need a 13mm socket, you suddenly have five frigging half-inch sockets, but no 13’s.
